Hey all,
This might not be the prettiest blog post you’ve ever seen, but it might be one of the more important ones. Spreading awareness about the importance of mental health in agriculture is somewhat of a passion of mine. The more we talk about the struggles we have as producers, the more producers will know they are not alone. The people I am about to share with you are sharing their most vulnerable selves in hope to end the silence about mental health in the agriculture industry.
Megz Reynolds and Sean Stanford shared their stories in front of the House of Agriculture Committee:

An important message shared by Lesley Kelly:

Another great resource I was introduced to at the Advancing Women in Agriculture Conference was the Do More Ag Foundation
Please share these resources with your friends and family in the agriculture industry. If you have any more articles or people who are doing the good work of ending the stigma, send them my way. I would love to meet them.
Much love,
K.
