As I gear up for the next edition of What I made Wednesday, coming out on April 3, I thought I’d share just a little bonus content with you. I made this dreamy Lavender Vanilla Body Scrub with clean and simple ingredients I had around the house. It is seriously my favourite recipe that I have used. It leaves my skin feeling extra moisturized and smellin’ delish! Here’s what you need:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup coconut oil (hard, at room temperature)
15 drops of Young Living Lavender Oil
1/2 tsp real vanilla extra
1/2 tsp grapeseed oil (Here’s the one I used)
Step 1 – Place all of the ingredients in a medium sized bowl
Step 2 – Mix together with a spatula
Step 3 – Place in a glass jar or container with a sealed lid. Any one will do!
Step 4 – There is no step 4! It’s seriously that easy. Enjoy!
Not a fan of lavender? No problem! You can put any oil or oil combination in your body scrub. Another personal favourite of mine is the Peppermint Patti blend. You’ll need:
5 Drops Young Living Peppermint Oil
5 Drops Young Living Stress Away
5 Drops Young Living Spearmint
