Thanks for checking out this episode of The Rural Woman Podcast! On this episode, I had the chance to speak with Brandi Buzzard Frobose who is the first rancher to appear on the podcast!
Brandi is a Cowgirl, Rancher, and Mama from Kansas who grew up
roping, helping her dad and grandpa at the feedlots they worked on/managed and worked with her cattle and hogs before the fair.
Brandi was recently interview by MSNBC as well as Fox & Friends First after the letter she sent to Congress Woman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez about the Green New Deal went viral. You can find the links to her interviews as well as her letter below.
I want to thanks Brandi and all of my other guests for sharing their story on The Rural Woman Podcast. I think it is so valuable to hear these women share the different practices and methods used on their farms, ranches, and homesteads. As a farmer myself, some of the practices we choose to use on our certified organic operation greatly differ from others and that’s okay. Like I have said in the past – we may not farm, ranch, or homestead the same but we’re all here for the common goal of producing food to nourish our families and feed the world. Their is value in everyone’s agriculture story and am honoured to continue to sharing it with you.
