The Rural Woman Podcast Episode 62 – June Dairy Month Part 4 – The Struggles Make You Stronger with Nicole Wren

On this week’s episode of The Rural Woman Podcast we are wrapping up our June Dairy Month series with Nicole Wren. Nicole owns and operates a dairy farm in northern Michigan with her husband Brad. Together in 2008 just weeks after saying ‘I do’ the couple purchased six local dairy cows and began milking in a stanchion barn. For Nicole, this was all brand new as she was newly married, newly unemployed, and had never touched a cow in her life! The last eleven years have seen a lot of ups and downs in the dairy industry which Nicole shares on her social media platforms. Being a farmer, farm wife, and mother to three wildly adventurous children comes with a ton of emotions, but this Michigan farm girl can’t think of any better way to live.
