The Rural Woman Podcast Episode 63 – Grass Fed Before It Was Cool with Kyle Brisendin

On this week’s episode of The Rural Woman Podcast, you’ll meet Kyle Brisendine. Kyle began farming at age 5 when she bought her first sheep with money she saved.  The next year she showed her first registered ewe against the adults in the open class because she was too young for 4-H.  Fast forward a few years and university in England where she received her BSc (Hons)  in Agriculture with an emphasis on livestock followed by a Masters of Agriculture in Integrated Resource Management from Colorado State University.

Kyle now manages Willow Farm LLC, a regenerative grass farm in southern lower Michigan where she sells grass fed beef and lamb along with wool in the on-farm shop.
