Stephanie Schiffgens is a mother, a wife, a shepherd, a farmer who runs Appletree Farm, a small diversified farm in the Willamette Valley, in Oregon. Stephanie is a first generation farmer in the US but is no stranger to agriculture as she grew up on a large scale produce farm in the South West of France. Stephanie shares with us how she spends days  tending to her small flock of Gotland sheep, growing food, flowers and eggs, producing wool, managing a small farmstay on Appletree Farm.

We live and grow on our families certified organic grain and oilseed operation. In the Spring and Summer seasons, I raise a small herd of meat goats and have previously raised bottle calves as well.
