Diversified Farming in The Pacific Northwest with Stéphanie Schiffgens
Stephanie Schiffgens is a mother, a wife, a shepherd, a farmer who runs Appletree Farm, a small diversified farm in the Willamette Valley, in Oregon. Stephanie is a first generation farmer in the US but is no stranger to agriculture as she grew up on a large scale produce farm in the South West of France. Stephanie shares with us how she spends days tending to her small flock of Gotland sheep, growing food, flowers and eggs, producing wool, managing a small farmstay on Appletree Farm.
