Inside Feedlot Health Management with Dr. Natasha Kutryk, DVM
On this week’s episode of The Rural Woman Podcast, you’ll meet Dr. Natasha Kutryk, DVM. Dr. Kutryk grew up on a farm in north-eastern Alberta. The youngest of four children, she was always highly competitive with her older siblings, and it was no surprise when she started her post-secondary career at the University of Alberta in the College of Agriculture. Natasha obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Since graduating, she has worked in mixed or large animal practices in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Canada, with her current role being a Veterinarian Consultant with Feedlot Health Management Services in Okotoks.

“Dear Katelyn Duban, I have been listening to your podcast since early April under quarantine and doing my college homework online. I enjoy each person you talk to on your podcast. My favorite episodes in this podcast is the woman that talks about regenerative soil in Agriculture and in when I was back home in May, I really loved listening to the podcast on Rachel Barrett of Havre, MT. Since that felt close to home for me. I also love shopping on the Wild Rose Farmer website and the cute shirts that you have. I got a Ag Support Ag shirt for me and my mother. Recently, I purchased an I am your Rancher and Team Sheep tank top. And I’m so happy to wear them with pride. Finally, I also enjoy being on the Rural Women Podcast Facebook Community as well. Please keep doing what your doing telling everyone’s story of Agriculture. Thank you!”
