On this week’s episode of The Rural Woman Podcast, you’ll meet Jillian Byers. Jillian along with her family own and operate Blue Ridge Farms located in Blue Ridge, Alberta approximately 1.5 hours northwest of Edmonton, Alberta. They started their operation in 2011 with 7 heifers, a dog and two cats and now are raising 400 head of cattle, pasture raised poultry, and free range pastured pork. Jillian sold their farm goods at a number of farmers markets and in 2019 made the leap into starting their own farm store. Today she shares with us her journey through Agriculture and how they grew their family business.
