Review of The Week
Guilt-Free Farmgirl Listening
☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ – sea lopez via Apple Podcasts
The broad spectrum of female farmer and ranching interviews allows room for all philosophies and methods. I’ve learned so much and without the inherent judgment accompanying so many agricultural podcasts these days. While our small farm aspires to sustainable heritage farming and animal husbandry, I find it helpful to know what commercial farmers are doing. I’ve stopped apologizing to others for my methods since listening and increased my general grit. It has opened my eyes to opportunities for farming animals I would not have otherwise considered. Its lively and well-formatted presentation keeps me interested while weaving, spinning, or slogging about doing farm chores.

Alison Weaver of Alison Weaver – Her Story, along with her team have created Navigate. Navigate is a day planner for women in agriculture and rural women.
Alison loved day planners, making lists, and journals. She has always been searching for a planner that would incorporate every aspect of her life on the farm housed in one place. After sharing the idea of creating a planner of my own with her daughter, they created Navigate.
Navigate has everything from weekly planning, journaling, record keeping, and agricultural/household resources. Navigate will be a great tool for your toolbox.
