Mental Health Awareness in Agriculture | Podcasts and resources | wildrosefarmer.com

As producers, we focus our time and attention on the health of the land, the soils, and animals. If they’re not in good condition, we know they don’t produce.

But how often do we focus on our own health? At the end of the day, once we’ve taken care of everything and everyone else – what’s left over?

If we don’t treat ourselves with the same love and respect we do with the land and livestock it’s no wonder that we face a mental health crisis in the agriculture industry.

The Rural Woman Podcast has been sharing and celebrating the stories of Women in Agriculture since 2019. Within these stories, there have been women sharing their own experiences with their mental health. These are just a few of the episodes that have a strong theme of mental wellness.
