MacKenzie is most well known for her yoga teaching. Before having her two kids she traveled the world teaching yoga workshops and trainings. In 2015 she traveled to Alberta to teach yoga workshops, but what she didn’t know was that that weekend she would meet her future husband farmer Mike of Steel Pony Farm. Within six months of meeting they were married and she was living in rural Alberta. The past 5 years have been an incredible exploration into farming, motherhood and all things growing, cooking and preserving food.
