THIS WEEK ON THE PODCAST, LORI SHARES ABOUT HER JOURNEY FROM A MULTI-GENERATIONAL FAMILY FARM TO STARTING HER OWN RANCH, THE CHALLENGES OF MOVING HER CATTLE OPERATION, BUILDING COMMUNITY, AND MENTORING WOMEN IN AGRICULTURE WHILE NAVIGATING BURNOUT AND WORK-LIFE BALANCE.

Lori Kinnee is a fourth-generation rancher, mentor, and advocate for women in agriculture. She was raised on a multi generational family farm spending endless days exploring with her cousins. She and her husband and their 2 grown children have built a ranch that has withstood border closures, drought, disease, debt and taxes. Their operation focuses on blending tradition with forward-thinking practices to create lasting value. She also spent numerous years in corporate finance positions crunching numbers.

This took a toll and Lori found herself in the grips of burnout. This was a turning point for her and she returned to the ranch full time. It was upon this return she reflected and realized that women in ranching are often lonely, overworked and carrying an immense mental and physical load – without the support they truly need (and deserve).

Through RancHer by Lori, she now mentors women in agriculture to reclaim their energy, balance their lives, and lead with confidence – without burnout. She aims to create a community where women can be heard and seen just as they are. Her purpose fuses ranching tradition with modern mindset strategies, helping women step into leadership roles while preserving their well-being.

Lori is passionate about preserving the legacy of family ranching and creating partnerships that support the next generation of ranching and agriculture.
