On this week’s episode of The Rural Woman Podcast™, you’ll meet Marina Schmidt.
Marina’s title of farmwife started in 2019 when she married a farmer. It was a change of a lifetime to go from a small-town girl with no knowledge of agriculture to now living on a 100-acre family farm in Southwestern Ontario. She has jumped right in and has been learning how to drive equipment, take care of cattle, grow a garden, plant and harvest crops, and run a farm business with her husband and his brother while working at a local hospital part-time as an X-ray tech.
