Sometimes lots of stuff.
Sometimes an overwhelming amount of stuff.

When I got here, it was a lot to handle.
I've learned to embrace the chaos.
And I've even found a few treasures I cherish along the way.

Listening back to our conversation made me think of my own grandmother-in-law, Baba. The matriarch of our family farm.

TBH - I’m like the D Team when it comes to combining (D is for desperate), but y’all I’ll take it!!

Running a combine has been on my list, but pretty far down. I like the lower pressure jobs on the field. Ones where if I mess up a little, it doesn’t completely stop everything.

So when I was woken up from my sleepy couch slumber I was taken a back to be asked to run a combine. Luckily, I have a great teacher.

Thanks to the Williams County Soil Conservation District for having me out for their 5th Annual Ladies Ag Night!

We shared some laughs, good food, and even better company. Taking our time to stop and smell the roses, so to speak 🌹

What started out with cancelled flights, airport sprints, and leaving my cellphone in Terminal 3 at the Toronto airport… resulted in this beautiful long weekend with my friends.

10/10. Would recommend.
